The Athena H41A features FMB’s SMARTCUT to automatically adjust the feed rate based on the saw blade’s location in the material. The machine automatically slows at the most critical points (when the saw blade first enters the material) and speeds up after the teeth have been buried in the cut.
SMARTCUT features:
- In automatic mode, the control stores up to 100 programs
- Cut faster without sacrificing saw blade life
- Material library – enter the material size, shape, grade, and the machine selects the proper feed rate and saw blade speed
- Save 100s of programs – cut length, quantity, saw blade speed, and feed rate
- Feed rate automatically adjusts throughout the cut to optimize blade life and cut time
