Hannover, Germany – The Han Pneumatic Module Metal compressed air module meets increased demands on interfaces for flexible production processes. Durable high mating cycle contacts are made of metal that can be plugged and unplugged at least 10,000 times.

The interface uses push-in fittings that operate on the push-pull principle and can be used at operating pressures of up to 10bar (previously 8bar). The increase allows users to select from a wider variety of pneumatic hoses and enables a greater number of applications.
Flow simulations have minimized contact pressure loss. Pressure loss in the female contacts with internal valves is now half that of previous pneumatic interfaces in industrial connectors.
Electrical contacts for the transfer of signal and power can now be combined with contacts for the transfer of light waves and compressed air in HMC connectors – saving users valuable build space and assembly time.
