Boulder, Colorado – The ZE 800 Profile Gear Grinder offers a compact yet highly productive solution for a range of applications. The machine is capable for 25 module (1 DP) external gears and is prepared for internal grinding using either CBN or dressable wheels. Nw software features including hob and worm grinding.
All ZE machines are equipped with coolant filtration unit, dresser, tailstock, measuring system, balancing unit, acoustic emission sensor, and software for grinding and measuring of involute profiles. A rotary table with electrical direct drive, hydrostatic bearings, and large table bores are all features of the ZE.
Multiple spindle configurations are available. The machine can be equipped with a stronger motor and grinding spindle and optimized axes with increased stroking speed for productive grinding of large module workpieces. Gears with short run-out or workpieces with interfering shoulders can be ground with a spindle and wheel adaptor for the smallest grinding wheels.
