Kyocera Precision Tools has released a new MFK-SF cutter for high-speed cast iron milling with an adjustable cutting-edge height. The tough and reliable dual angle design and adjustable cutting-edge height allows for improved surface finish and high precision machining.
Use this cutter with a combination of ceramic inserts and a new CBN wiper insert in grade KBN475 to achieve the best surface finish in cast iron milling.
The MFK-SF is at least 25% more fracture resistant than competing cutters, produces a smoother surface finish, and eliminates burr formation.
