EMUGE-FRANKEN USA, a manufacturer of high-performance taps, thread mills, end mills, drills, other rotary tools, and precision clamping solutions, announced that together with its partners Okuma America Corporation and OPEN MIND Technologies, it will hold a complimentary Machining Technology Event at Okuma North America, 11900 Westhall Drive, Charlotte, North Carolina on September 11, 2025 from 10AM to 2PM. At the event, a 4140 steel structural housing hinge with a 5" overhang and large ¾" hole will be machined under conditions designed to test stress under full forces. Manufacturers that depend on absolute precision and reliability, such as those in the aerospace, medical, and mold/die industries, are welcome and encouraged to attend. Lunch will be served.
The machining setup will include the new EMUGE-FRANKEN EvoGrip Modular Workholding System featuring a standard centering vise with the highest clamping forces in the industry.
