Avery Dennison introduced new pressure-sensitive adhesive tape solutions for electric vehicle (EV) battery cell wrapping applications. The new product line is the latest addition to the company’s EV battery portfolio of functional tape solutions and is engineered to address arcing challenges within EV battery packs.

“Cell wrapping films offer a multitude of benefits for engineers navigating electrical arcing challenges,” says Scott Krusinski, director, Energy Storage, Avery Dennison Materials Group North America. “These new tape solutions for EV batteries provide electrical insulation, corrosion resistance, and aesthetics in a thin, durable solution.”
