What do you love about your Mustang?
I bought this car with some money my dad left me. Dad was a body panel tool and die maker for Ford, and we both loved cars and racing. I think of Dad every time I drive it, wash it, or just look at it. In my family, cars are more than just a transportation appliance. They are part of the family and it’s how we mark time. When I asked Dad what year he got married, he’d say, “Oh, 1963, the year I bought my first brand-new car, a Ford Galaxie 390 with three on the tree.” The car is a great representation of me and the bond my dad and I had, or still have because of the Mustang he bought me.

So Fords are a family tradition?
Being born in 1965 pretty much means I have Mustang in my blood. There are now three Mustangs in my family. My wife has a 2013 Gotta Have it Green Roush RS I bought her for our 20th wedding anniversary, and my daughter has a 2000 bright Atlantic blue convertible.
How have you upgraded the Mustang since buying it?
Roush upgrades include the supercharger, lowering the suspension by 1”, race upgrades to several suspension parts, window louvers, carbon fiber covers for many components, and performance racing tires.
