Vertical turning center

The You Ji YV-600E2T 4-axis vertical turning center is designed for large lot-size machining. This compact, high-precision, heavy-duty machine can operate as a stand-alone machining cell or integrated with other machines to form a complete flexible manufacturing system. Maximum swing is 33.4" and maximum turning diameter is 29.5".

X- and Z-axis roller-type linear guideways with specially designed sliding covers inside the machine, virtually eliminate chip problems. High-speed way systems enable rapid traverse rates of 787ipm while precision Class 3 ball screws are driven directly by the servo motors, eliminating belts or gears for more exact machining.

cDD dressers certified to micro-precision tolerances

The cDD Diamond Dressers offer tool radius tolerances that are certified accurate to within 2µm (±0.001mm), designed for demanding micro-precision grinding applications. Rotary metal 3D printer

The SonicLayer 7200 adds rotary access to its 3D metal printing capabilities, converting it from an orthogonal printer to an axial printer. The rotary axis is designed to position a cylindrical part under the welding system, enabling the 3D printing of metal features on the outer diameter of a shaft, cylinder, or pipe. It can be used for applications such as cladding expensive metals onto inexpensive substrates, adding intermittent stiffeners to pressure vessels, and adding 3D features to standard bar stock.

Inductive probe display

The Tesa Twin-T10 portable display for inductive probes offers ease of operation and is designed for straightness, run-out, form, or geometry evaluation during fine adjustments, alignments, or the assembly of mechanical parts. Due to the hemispherical form of the analog scale with 200 segments, the Tesa Twin-T10 allows clear analog and numeric reading of form variations. The portable display also offers more than 340 hours of operation with standard AA batteries.

Developed for the shop floor, the instrument’s elastomer overmolding with a soft-touch finish makes it wear-resistant and comfortable to hold.

Bath process sensors

LiquiSonic sensors installed in baths or pipes measure concentrations of cleaning, anti-corrosive, quenching agents, and other chemicals. This makes immediate and exact replenishment possible for optimum process performance and product quality. Cost savings can be realized by avoiding excessive raw material consumption resulting from overdosing, and by avoiding failed production due to insufficient re-dosing. LiquiSonic sensors determine the contamination degree in cleaning baths, enabling the efficient control of bath changes to optimize component cleanliness.

LiquiSonic technology is based on sonic velocity measurement. The sensor design requires no moving parts, seals, or windows. Inline, real-time information is available to PCs and process control systems.

Heavy-duty milling chuck

The Mega Perfect Grip is a heavy-duty milling chuck for heat resistant super alloys (HRSA) that eliminates end mill pullout under heavy torque loads. For manufacturers using milling chucks, pullout is a major issue, particularly when machining HRSAs such as titanium or Inconel. With fully concentric clamping, the chuck combines the accuracy and cutting performance of heavy-duty milling chucks with security against pullout of solid side-lock toolholders.

Moldmaking jigs

A series of large, accurate CNC jig mills are designed for mold base production, mold plates, precision hot runners, progressive and transfer dies, and other jig boring and milling applications. The fixed crossrail, massive ram design of the Jig Mill J1620 and J1620X machines provides straightness accuracy of at least 10µm in the X- and Y-axis. Table squareness to the Z-axis is also better than 10µm.

Customers can choose from a variety of toolchanger units with capacities from 10 to 180 tools. A variety of coolant and chip evacuation systems can be chosen to match the customer’s needs.

Custom angle heads

Custom fixed-angle heads, offset-angle heads, multiple-output heads, and long-reach angle heads are available for specialty applications. Angle head spindles are manufactured from a solid piece of hardened steel, increasing resistance to bending stress by 25%. Tools can reach higher rotation speeds without vibration, allowing higher speed and precision. Angular contact bearings offer concentricity and stability for higher-performance machining operations.
