Metal pretreatment

Ultra-Bond 2187 dry-in-place pretreatment for precleaned metal is a zero-phosphorus solution that forms a homogeneous organic/inorganic layer on pretreated metals, providing corrosion protection for pretreated surfaces painted with powder or piqued paints. By depositing a molecular layer onto the surface of precleaned metal, the dry-in-place solution enhances paint adhesion and corrosion resistance.

High-feed cutter

Pramet ISBN10 cutters are suitable for high-feed milling, copy milling, ramping, helical interpolation, slotting, and plunging. The pocket design, in combination with the ANHX10 insert, can perform shoulder and face milling. Diameters range from 0.625" to 1.500" and types include parallel, modular shanks, and shell mills.

Industrial bandsaws

KAAST bandsaws range from 9" to 60" (230mm to 1,500mm). Larger capacity saws generally have larger motors providing more torque and faster cutting. All saws are at least semi-automatic, meaning head movement is controlled by a hydraulic piston, and can be raised and lowered by the operator activating the up/down switch.

Fully automatic bandsaws have a hydraulic piston to raise and lower the head and are either equipped with driven rollers in the vise or a shuttle vise to advance the material. Most fully automatic saws also feature a digital piece counter.

The hydraulic top clamp for HBS line saws allows the operator to cut pieces of bundled material by applying minimal tack welding to the ends before applying pressure in two directions simultaneously.
