The GT-27 SL 3-axis, gang-tooled, slant-bed lathe is a 7.5hp, 6,000rpm, 5-C collet spindle machine with 13.5" of cross travel and a C-axis with driven tools. During IMTS 2016, the lathe will be truncating an ID and OD thread and using a rotary broach as part of the machine demonstration.
Also on display will be the compact footprint ASL-100 auto-loading CNC lathe for processing parts up to 2.3" diameter with an automatic part load and unload station. A 6,000rpm, 15hp spindle with a 6" hydraulic chuck is standard. The machine is equipped with a 12-station tool turret, and a driven-tool turret is available.
