Two-finger gripper
The PGN-plus Permanent gripper features a patented multi-tooth guide equipped with grease pockets for continuous and even distribution of lubricant, even with short strokes. This increases the life span of the gripper and makes it practically maintenance-free. It reduces operating costs and ensures repeat accuracy of 0.01mm. The gripper is equipped with an oval piston drive for high forces in confined spaces.
The PGN-plus family has been used in applications with high temperatures, contaminants, and aggressive media, as well as in clean rooms and explosive environments. The modules are available with spring assist for mechanical gripping force maintenance, combined with units for compensating angle errors, with force intensifier, or as a special precision version.
The PGN-plus Permanent fits into the PGN-plus family, supporting a range of automated applications that can be reliably implemented with a universal gripper.

Optical shaft measuring devices
Offering precision in short measuring cycle times, the single-camera optical shaft measuring system permits the measurement of workpieces up to 80mm in diameter without loss of resolution. Accuracy with maximum allowable error levels of less than 2µm are typical.
The Hommel-Etamic Opticline series is for production-floor evaluation of shaft-like parts up to 150mm in diameter and 900mm in length. Opticline series products feature a 0.1µm camera with enhanced measurement accuracy and increased frequency of measurement during the measurement cycle.
Optical measurement of workpiece profiles, diameters and spacing, angle or radii, threads, rotation angles, form and geometric tolerances, or outer contours of high precision workpieces can be determined quickly and flexibly within a compact space. For checking length and angular measurements, an optional touch probe is available.
The optical system is hermetically sealed, preventing dust or oil mist from interfering with measurements. Active self-monitoring mechanisms and temperature compensation offer long term measuring device stability.
An ergonomic design features an open and accessible part loading area.
Quality evaluation software
Measuring and evaluation software Turbo Optic simplifies operation of Opticline products. Robust evaluation software is simple to program and easy to understand.

Laser workstation family
The MPS laser workstation family supports production of lightweight, plastic components that require laser welding. The Dilas Compact Evolution diode laser and control software are available in two versions: a turnkey complete system or an integration package including laser source, fixture, and control software.
The systems are equipped with a human machine interface for polymer welding and a workpiece clamping unit working with either a pneumatic or a servo clamping drive. The control software for the joining process has been developed for polymer welding applications to deliver a setting signal and level for process control and quality assurance. Data can be logged for process statistics and quality management.
The MPS family consists of the MPS Compact, MPS Flexible, MPS Rotary, and MPS Advanced.
