DriveOhio Executive Director Preeti Choudhary
Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) Director Jack Marchbanks selected Preeti Choudhary to lead DriveOhio as the new Executive Director.
“We are extremely excited to welcome Preeti to our team,” says ODOT Director Jack Marchbanks. “She has the rich technical background we need to manage projects and sustain Ohio’s position in advanced mobility systems.”
Choudhary is a senior Intelligent Transportation Systems engineer with a background in systems engineering analyses; connected and automated vehicle (CV/AV) strategic planning and programming; and technology pilot deployments. Her solid technical background and communication skills make her a bridge between engineers, policy makers, and a wide range of stakeholders.
“As the point of the spear for advanced mobility, DriveOhio is uniquely positioned at the intersection of policy, transportation, technology, and the market to scale safe advanced transportation solutions across the State of Ohio,” says Preeti Choudhary. “I am honored to join the DeWine-Husted Administration, and I’m excited to work with the impressive team Director Jack Marchbanks has assembled at DriveOhio.”
Choudhary worked with transit and transportation agencies across the country to plan, deploy, and promote innovative mobility solutions. Her leadership and skillset infuse all project stages, from planning and concept development through testing and deployment. Leveraging a network of resources from across the United States, Choudhary recently led the State of Ohio’s CV/AV Systems Engineering Analysis and helped develop the nation’s first statewide systems engineering guidebook for CV/AV technology deployments. Choudhary holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees from New York University.
