The MU-5000V is a process-intensive 5-axis vertical machining center that provides optimum performance. With its highly rigid, double-column structure and high-speed, high-accuracy trunnion table, it offers precise positioning for simultaneous 5-axis cutting. The optional multifunction platform combines 5-axis machining with turning capabilities for greater flexibility and one-chuck operation.
The MU-5000V is incredibly adaptable and automation friendly. It can easily be adapted for use with APC, multiple ATC, automation, or FMS without compromising operability since any expansion takes place in the back of the machine. Okuma’s Thermo-Friendly Concept increases accuracy by compensating for ambient temperatures around the machine as well as heat generated during machining. The MU-5000V delivers optimum performance with unparalleled productivity.
